Why does the first line start with "Esc" and not with the curly brackets like lines 2 through 6? What does 'x', 'w', and 'a' mean? Why do certain keys have multiple letters inside the curly brackets, but some only have one letter? Seems like 'w' sets the width of the keys, maybe if no width is provided it is assumed the key is a standard single key width? For example, if we take a look at the raw data for the ANSI 104 preset, it's ["Esc", but I don't see that anywhere in the raw data whatsoever.Īs for interpreting the raw data, I just can't figure out what's going on. The thing is, I can't make heads or tails of how the "Raw Data" works. Recently found and have been messing around with all sorts of layouts, it's been a lot of fun and I am planning to build a custom split.
